Westwood Music

Westwood Music has been around for decades.  They support some of the largest tours and biggest names in the music industry.   They will ship virtually anything globally.  These are the folks to have in your corner when everything starts falling apart and you need help fast. They have knowledge in virtually every aspect of the music business.

Westwood Music is one of the few authorized Martin repair facilities,  and has a very extensive range of "in stock" acoustic and classical  guitars.  They also have an extensive line of the finest electric guitars.

Their currently amplifier line includes some of the finest amplifiers available today.  These include the great THD, Victoria, Carr, Groove Tubes Professional Line, Matchless, Bogner, Demeter, Koch, AER line of the finest acoustic guitar amps - powered monitors and PA systems, and other amplifiers including some vintage Vox and Ampeg models.  Unlike many other dealers, they have most models in stock and available to play.

They have an extensive inventory of vacuum tubes from many manufacturers, and tube matching and tracing equipment,

Westwood Music is now in their new location on Westwood Blvd., on the west side of the street, south of Wilshire and north of Santa Monica.  For those that remeber the original store (dating from 1948 or so), it is two doors south of the original location.

The new store is about as impressive as one can imagine.  The rooms are optimized for sound quality, and there is even a stage area amidst hunter green carpet, surrounded by Fred's typical antiques.  The sound system in the rear area which is used for live performance, is a particularly nice place to test out an amplifier of guitar consideration.

Drop by .... I think you will find it a treat.

Westwood Music is currently selling a portion of Joe Walsh's guitar and amplifier collection.  There are about a dozen or more of his guitars on display, and for sale.  If you drive by the store, many are displayed in the front window.  Some of these are conventional in nature, and some of quite unique or unusual.
